Time for another Monday Questionnaire!

1) Mood:
Happy, actually. I'm just recovering from a sore throat and a cough, and I'm just about better.

2) Does the winter season tend to draw you inside, or outside?
Definitely inside. Winter's are way too cold where I live to spend too long outside.

3) Would you rather wear summer clothes in winter, or winter clothes in summer?
If I could stay inside all day, then I would choose summer clothes in winter. Winter clothes in the summer heat would be awful!

4) Current nail polish:
China Glaze Ring in the Red over China Glaze Holly-day. Yay Christmas nails!

5) What is your idea of a holiday makeup look?
Definitely a red or berry lip look with some warm eyeshadow. Something with sparkle too!

6) Current outfit: 
A blue flowery crop top with a gray long cardigan and leggings.

7) What is your favourite winter accessory?
Scarves and my Uggs.

8) You have a free day to do anything you want-what do you do?
Probably have a spa day. I think that would be really fun!

9) What are your favourite holiday decorations?
I really love when houses put up so many lights, they look like a gingerbread house. That always makes me really happy, and I love driving home and seeing all the lights.

Monday Questionnaire: December 3, 2012

Only three more Mondays after this one until Christmas! This year has flown by!

1. Mood: Christmas-sy! It's starting to hit me how close it actually is!!

2. You call into a radio station to request a Christmas song---which one is it??
Oh dear, I've never had to think about my favourite Christmas song before...I would probably have to go with Jingle Bell Rock. It's so catchy!!

3. What is your ideal handbag size?
LARGE. When I go shopping, I like to put everything I buy into my bag, so I don't have to carry any bags. And I need to fit my wallet, phone, sunglasses, etc. in there too!

4. Current nail polish:
China Glaze Tinsel Town.

5. What is the last fragrance you wore?
Givenchy Hot Couture. You know how a certain scent can just bring so many memories flooding back? This one does.

6. Current outfit: 
Black leggings and a purple, green, orange and white crop top. Comfy, yet cute.

7. Which snow activity do you prefer: building snowmen, making snow angels, or having snow ball fights?
When I was younger, I used to love having snow ball fights. But now, they're sort of too aggressive for me, so I'm going to go with building snowmen.

8. What is your favourite restaurant cuisine?
Mexican, Indian, or Chinese. Good thing I'm decisive.

9. Can you whistle with your fingers?
Not if someone paid me a million dollars.

10. Weekly goals:
I have a test I have to take this week, and I don't really feel ready for it. I hope I'll be prepared enough for it!

Monday Questionnaire: November 12, 2012

Is it too early to be excited for Christmas? Well, there's only 6 more Mondays until then!!!


1) Current Mood:
Average, I guess. I'm kind of feeling a little...insecure, self-hating right now. That's never a good feeling, but sadly, way too frequent.

2) What is the last song/album you purchased?
The new songs from the last episode of Glee.

3) The best video game system ever is ___________?
I've had three in my lifetime: Nintendo Game Cube, Nintendo Wii and a Playstation 3 (well, the last one is my brothers). I would have to say that the Playstation is my favourite. The graphics are awesome, and a lot of my favourite games are on there (RockBand, Skyrim...lol)

4) Current nail polish:
China Glaze Velvet Bow.

5) How many times did you hit the snooze button this morning?
None! I'm very good at getting up on time, even on a Monday morning...at 6am.

6) Current outfit:
Black leggings, a blue shirt, and a brown/white striped three quarter cardigan.

7) What is the furthest distance you've ever driven?
Um, no idea?

8) You can only use one mascara for the rest of your life--which is it?
Oh my goodness, this is an impossible question. I feel like my mascara favourite is changing all the time...well, my current favourite is Covergirl's LashBlast Fusion, so I guess we'll go with that.

9) If you could have a $1000 gift card to anywhere right now, where would you choose?
Sephora, of course!! That gift card would be used up in one trip...it's very sad that I'm not even exaggerating.

Monday Questionnaire: October 29, 2012

I can't believe it's Monday again already!! The time seems to be flying by lately.


1) Mood: Pretty happy. The weather is looking brighter for this week, so that's good. And I don't feel like I have too much to do right now.

2) On the topic of Hurricane Sandy, are there any natural disasters common to where you live?
Nope! I have never experienced a tornadoe, earthquake, hurricane, tsunami...I guess I'm pretty lucky!!

3) What is your favourite song at the moment?
I'm loving Taylor Swift's new album, "Red". Every song on it actually, but if I had to pick a favourite song off of it, it would be "22". So catchy!!

4) Current nail polish:
China Glaze Glitter All the Way. It's from their holiday collection...super cute name!!

5) If you could only use one makeup product, what would you use?
I really hope this never happens to me!! But if I had to choose, I would say mascara. I feel like my skin could survive with concealer/foundation, but my eyes always look really tired with no eye makeup on them. But that would be closely followed by eyeliner and concealer.

6) Current outfit:
Black leggings and a purple, white and green striped cropped shirt. Very comfy yet not sloppy-looking!! (Those are my favourite kind of outfits.)

7) Are you good at keeping in touch with friends and family?
Close friends and family, yes. But sometimes I feel like I don't see or talk to some of my friends as much as I would like to.

8) Are you excited about any holiday makeup collections this year?
Well, every holiday nail polish collection...but for makeup, I'm eyeing some of Benefits mini sets. They look really cute!!

9) The world's most wonderful chef is at your house, ready to cook you any meal you desire- what would you choose?
Is it bad if I say buffalo chicken wings...? They're my all time favourite food!!!

10) Weekly Goals:
I guess just being able to check off everything on my to do list!!!

Monday Questionnaire: October 22, 2012

Haven't done one of these in a while, but I figured it would be a good way to kick off the start of the week.


1) Mood:
Pretty happy, actually. It's just the extremely gloomy/snowy weather that's keeping me down!!!

2) What was the best part of your weekend?
Going out for sushi with my friend on Saturday. It's always nice to grab food with friends and kind of forget about life for awhile (although that's easier said than done!)

3) If you HAD to choose one: drastic haircut or drastic hair colour?
I would go with a drastic hair colour. It's easier to change back if something goes wrong!!

4) Current nail polish:
China Glaze Agro. NOTD coming soon!!

5) You're carving a pumpkin, what do you carve?
Something pretty simple...I'm not exactly delicate with my hands. Maybe an unicorn?

6) Current outfit?
Black leggings, mint chiffon shirt, riding boots and some rather unflattering socks...oh well, no one can see them.

7) Are there any T.V shows you are really loving right now? 
Criminal Minds!! I never liked it before (I can't handle any gore at all), but now I can't stop watching it!! It doesn't hurt that there are some very attractive guys in it...

8) Do you change your makeup routine with the seasons? How is it different for fall?
As we progress into colder weather, I usually darken up my eye makeup. My face makeup stays pretty constant year round.

9) Are you dressing up for Halloween this year?
Nope, not this year. I actually have no idea what I'm doing for Halloween this year.

10) Weekly Goals:
Don't let the weather get me down too much!!!

So it's the start of a new week, which means another Monday Questionnaire!!

1) Current Mood:
Stressed out!!! I have so much to get done in such a short span of time!!

2) What are you looking forward to most today?
Getting home, curling up on the couch with a cup of coffee, and watching my favourite show. It's the little things.

3) Someone is bringing you breakfast in bed, what is on the perfect tray?
Sausage and bacon definitely, a smoothie and maybe an omelette!

4) Current nail polish:
OPI's Just Spotted the Lizard.

5) Where do you keep your handbag/purse when you are at home?
On my desk chair in my room.

6) Current outfit: 
Black leggings and pink, red and white tribal print shirt. Very comfy!!

7) If you could try on any celeb's hairstyle for a day, who would you choose?
I really like Spencer Hasting's (Troian Bellisaro) hair on Pretty Little Liars. It always looks so perfectly styled, but not over the top.

8) Do you sleep with your bedroom door open or closed?
Closed, because it's just a habit now. Plus any sort of light/noise can keep me awake.

9) What is the last beauty product you finished?
Maybelline's Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer. I just repurchased it, so keep an eye out for a review coming soon!

10) Weekly Goals:
To get everything done that I need to, but not stress out too much. And to take time to relax.

Monday Questionnaire: August 27, 2012

Another Monday Questionnaire!! And the last one of August...this year is flying by!

Let's get started then!

1) Current Mood:
I'm kind of sick, but I'm pretty content. Last week, I was a little stressed out, but I feel lots more relaxed now.

2) What is your favourite article of clothing to shop for?
I would have to say shirts. Pants are easy to get, but not that fun to buy. I always like browsing through the shirts, just to see what catches my eye. And do scarves count? Because I love looking for a new scarf!! I guess that's more an accessory than an article of clothing, though.

3) Three hours ago, I was...
In bed, struggling to get up. I'm trying to get up earlier to adjust to a school schedule again. It's not easy!!

4) Current nail polish
OPI's Every Month is Oktoberfest. I really want to change it soon, but I`m trying to hold off on doing so until the first day of school.

5) When was the last time you read an actual newspaper (not digital)?
Actually, we stopped getting paper newspapers a couple of years ago. But, when we were in Scotland, we got paper newspaper frequently. So only a couple of weeks ago.

6) Current outfit:
My pajamas! Haven't been bothered to get dressed yet (hey, it's summer vacay!) (did I really just say vacay?)

7) What is your natural hair texture?
Thick, curly, with lots of volume.

8) Would you rather go a week without your phone or your computer?
I would rather go a week without my computer. I can handle being away from the internet for seven days, but I wouldn't really want to be out of touch with my friends and family for that long.

9) What is your favourite musical?
The Sound of Music and Mamma Mia! hands down. I grew up with the Sound of Music (doe a deer, a female deer, ray, a drop of golden sun...ok, I'll stop).

10) Weekly goals:
To take it easy. I don't want to get any more sick!

Monday Questionaire: August 20th, 2012

Once again, another Monday Questionaire!!! They are really fun to do, so I'm going to keep doing them.

Let's jump in!!

1) Current mood:
Happy! And proud of myself- I just passed my driver's test. I have that feeling right now that I could accomplish anything! (Well, maybe not anything.)

2) What was your favourite board game as a kid?
I really liked Monopoly, and Life. I always played Monopoly with my grandpa when I went to visit them, and it was really fun! I usually liked to collect the light and dark blues...and the train stations.

3) Do you like your current hairstyle/colour?
For the most part, yes. I do wish my hair was a little longer, and a little darker brown, but I'm pretty satisfied.

4) Current nail polish:
OPI Unfor-greta-bly Blue from their new Germany collection. Lovely colour!

5) When was the last time you went to a theme park?
Literally three days ago. My friend was going with her family, and I was invited to come along :) It was lots of fun!!

6) Current outfit:
Denim shorts, pink shirt, olive green scarf with white flowers, and gray flip flops.

7) You're at a movie theater...what snack do you get?
Because their prices are SO expensive (it's ridiculous), I usually don't buy anything. I usually just get Starbucks and sneak it in (shhhh...) (I can't tell you how many drinks I've spilled in my purse). But if I had to choose something, I would get a drink and some buttered popcorn.

8) What is one makeup tip you wish you'd known 2 years ago?
Silver eyeshadow does not suit you, you are allowed to use more than one eyeshadow on your eyelid, and yes, foundation does go on your face. Ok, that's three, but you get my drift. I wish I knew then what I know now (Katy Perry lyrics!!)

9) What is a really classic/popular movie you've never seen?
I have never seen any of the Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future or Batman movies. I have also never seen Breakfast at Tiffany's or Gone with the Wind. I have been meaning to watch Jurassic Park and Back to the Future, though.

10) Weekly goals:
Not getting too stressed by all the little things I have to get done. Easier said than done!!

Monday Questionaire: August 14, 2012

Yes, I am aware that it is a Tuesday while I'm doing a Monday Questionaire, but I only saw this morning that Amarixe had posted another one. So I'm doing it now :)

Let's hop in!

1) Current Mood:
Kind of low actually. I have no idea why, but I'm feeling a bit down. It might be the letdown after a great vacation (I'm home now), but I think it's a bit because of the weather (it's raining). But ah well. Can't really complain.

2) If you had to guess, how many beauty products would you say you use in a day? 
I would say somewhere between 20-30. I know that sounds like a lot, but you have to take into account all the little things- primer, eyeshadow primer, eyebrow pencil etc.

3) Are you a good swimmer?
I can swim, but not exceptionally. Plus I haven't been in a pool for about two-three years, so I really can't say.

4) Current nail polish:
Still China Glaze Smoke and Ashes, but I'm changing it tonight. I'll probably post a NOTD tomorrow.

5) What is your favourite dinner dish? 
I would have to say steak. I LOVE steak. I don't have it very often, which is probably why I like it so much. It's a novelty.

6) Current outfit:
My pajamas. I just woke up :)

7) Do you like to dance? 
I LOVE to dance. It always makes me happy, whether it's a choreographed routine, or just a spontaneous outbreak.

8) Can you drive a manual transmission/stick shift car? 
I have yet to drive any type of car! I am taking my test soon, though.

9) What is the last beauty product you purchased?
Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro Primer.

10) Weekly goals: 
To remain positive, no matter what happens.

Monday Questionnaire: August 6th, 2012

Just a really quick post today, a Monday Questionnaire!! One of my favourite bloggers, Allison, or "Amarixe" (www.amarixe.com), does a series on her blog called Monday Questionnaire, to answer a series of questions every week.

At the end of her post, she pastes the questions so other people can answer them. So that's what I'll be doing now!!!

Questions:
1) Current mood? 
Relaxed. Being on vacation is always relaxing. And I'm also pretty full; just had a big dinner!!!

2) Can you say the ABC's backwards without stumbling?
If I went very slow, I could probably do okay. But definitely not without thinking about it.

3) What is the closest green object to you? 
A plastic bag that we're using for recycling hanging on the door handle. Exciting, I know.

4) Current nail polish? 
China Glaze Smoke and Ashes. One of my favourites!

5) What is your favourite song at the moment? 
REO Speedwagon's "Keep On Loving You". I've listened to this song all my life, and never knew it was  by this band! I saw it my I-pod, wondered if it was the same song, found out it was, and now I can't stop listening to it!!

6) Current outfit: 
Darkwash skinny jeans, white t-shirt with a bright pink tank top underneath, and grey flip flops.

7) What coverage of foundation do you prefer most: light, medium, full or none at all?
I think I prefer medium most of all, with enough coverage to cover most blemishes, but not enough to look cakey. Liking Revlon Colorstay right now!!

8) What colour are the walls of your bedroom?
A pale orange :)

9) What is your zodiac sign? Do you think it's characteristics represent you?
I'm a Capricorn, and Capricorns are usually described as practical, ambitious, patient, careful, humorous and reserved. I think the last four apply to me, but I'm not so sure about the first two.

10) Weekly goals: 
To keep a positive attitude, and not get bothered by little things.
